      BETA CAE Systems S.A. enjoys the cooperation and support of Fraunhofer-Institute for Algorithms and Scientific Computing (SCAI) for the integration of SCAI's FEMUNZIP into µETA post-processor. FEMUNZIP enabless the uncompression of simulation results files that were previously compressed by SCAI's FEMZIP.
FEMZIP is a specialized tool for the compression of LS-DYNA™ (FEMZIP-L) and PAM-CRASH™ (FEMZIP-P) results. It reads and reconstructs the native data formats.

The Kaiserslautern Racing Team (KaRaT) was founded in febuary 2007 by commited Students to take part in the Formula Student. Our goal at KaRaT is to design and build our own racing vehicle in order to take part in the annual events. Our team is completly run by students and also offers every member of the team a unique possibility to gain experience in the engeneering or econimic field beyond their regular studies.
In cooperation with BETA CAE Systems SA we were able to test our designed vehicle components using a sophisticated FEM software application before actually manufacturing them.
